Tastes like Purple, Purple tastes good!
Futurama is a bundle of comedy, science-fiction and satire. It is, without a doubt, one of the finest television programs ever made, live action or animation, and is unlikely to be surpassed in future years (unless they get the go ahead to restart production). This boxed set of Season 3 of Futurama is brilliant. Not only is the content fantastic, but the presentation is nifty too.
Each episode has an interesting interactive menu, with access to special features like deleted scenes and animatics, and a full audio commentary. Unlike other audio commentaries for other films and programs, the Futurama commentaries are brilliant. They're amusing, informative, and create a feeling of good will. You get to hear creator Matt Groening, executive producer David X Cohen, directors, writers and voice actors Billy West, John DiMaggio (as well as the occasional appearance of another voice actor) saying what they think about the particular episode they're commenting on.
Every episode is guaranteed to produce a laugh, and many of them also have real heart as well. The characters, be they cyclops, lobster, offensive robot or delivery boy, each portray characteristics we can relate to - and this is why they work so well. A whole host of other characters provide endless satirical humour. The voice acting is the best ever done on a cartoon of this scale, with a cast of "Married with Children"'s Katey Segal, stand up comedian John DiMaggio and "Ren and Stimpy"'s Billy West (who does three of the main voices and is absolutely amazing) just to name a few.
The animation is brilliant - a mixture of 2D and 3D which is simply breathtaking, but still unmistakably animation. Scenes and landscapes are beautiful, and characters have just the right amount of detail.
Season 3 has some of the best episodes of this entertaining show, with guest stars like Beck and Lucy Lui. My favourites are "Amazon Women in the Mood", "Parasites Lost", "A Tale of Two Santas"... oh hang on, I'm listing the entire season here...
The boxed set of season 3 is well worth the money for the hours upon hours of enjoyment it will bring. I had only seen 5 or 6 episodes of Futurama but looking at the dStore price made me buy seasons 2 and 3 and it was the best thing I have done in a long time.
I highly recommend this product.

Futurama shows Comedy and Emotion
This Season of Futurama is the greatest becaue it in fact shows the most emotion I've seen in a comedy/animated show since MOANING LISA (Simpsons Season 2). This is so funy and sad you'll be crying with tears of laughter. In this season Matt Greoning (Creator of the Simpsons) shows the real insides of the Fuurama and its characters (Fry and what happened in the past and his girlfrend being unfrozen). As well as hapiness and sadness there is a slight horror genre parody of Christine; The Honking. This is also definitive in a animted comedy show boxset with Awesome commentary by John Dimaggio, Mattt Greoning and many others.

The Best Of Futrama. Season 3.
Season Three is filled with most of the highlights from the Futurama Series so far.
"Amazon Women in the mood" In this episode we find Zap Branagan yet again getting the gang captured by the Hormone crazed women of Amazonia.
"The Luck of the Fryish" We see Fry tracking down his would be stolen Seven leaf clover, with some interesting Flash-backs this episode is a Tear jerker
"Anthology of Interest 2" We see here a repeat of an interesting episode in seson two with the WHAT IF machine. Bender as a Human, Life as a video Game(Fry Obviously) and Leela Crash lands on her home planet 'Ozz'
The Season has a wide array of Episodes for Fans and One-off watchers. Definitly worth the money invested in it. It Gets Six Stars from this Futurama Fan

Awesome, awesome to the max.
Easily the best of the four Futurama seasons, with 22 episodes, it's also the biggest. Although there are some...below average episodes ('A leela of her own', 'Bendin in the Wind'), there a couple of absolute classics, including emmy winner 'Roswell that Ends Well' and 'Luck of the Fryish'. The good definately outways the bad.
Back again is the awesome commentary for each episode, with Matt Groening, plus a HUGE list of writers, animators, directors, and best of all, plenty of voice talent, something sorely missing from the Simpsons DVD releases. I don't know about anyone else, but I've listened to the commentaries more than the episodes. Entertaining stuff.
The other extras are great, deleted scenes, animatics, trailers, etc., as well as some great easter eggs I won't spoil.
An absolute must buy for fans of Comedy, Animation and Futurama, before the inevitable Season 4 release.
