| | Dress Code: | | All swordfighting equipment is provided. Please wear runners, tracksuit pants, a t-shirt, sweat shirt (for additional protection), a towel and water. |
| | Other Info: | | Our instructors are all national and international standard fencers - many have represented Australia. A disclaimer will need to be signed on the day. |
| | Numbers: | | The price quoted is for 10 people. A maximum of 20 people per instructor is possible, but normally there will be one instructor per 10 people. We can cater for groups as large as 100 people - please enquire at the time of booking. Individual coaching will also be offered during the session. |

Your sword fighting experience will be specifically tailored to your organisation to ensure that your objectives are met. You may want it to be for pure fun and excitement and to try something new or maybe employ some more specific learning outcomes, such as:

This experience is a great new way to encourage effective team building as very few will have tried fencing - so it is a great leveller. The mental as well as physical aspect of the sport means that strength is not as important as cunning and technique, so ladies can compete with and beat more powerful men.
The session can be tailored as an all day, morning or afternoon event, or as short as one hour. We begin with a safety briefing, then a warm up and stretch before learning the ?en guard? position, mobility, the lunge and how to handle the foil. You will then be shown the art of attack and defence, then move on to counter offensive actions that will prepare you to do battle with your colleagues. Team work, strategy and tactics will be important once you divide into groups and work together to defeat your opponents!
