Session Length:

Tours are run daily, excluding Christmas Day and New Year?s Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. You will be picked up between 7.20am ? 8am and dropped off between 5.30pm ? 6.30pm. The duration of your winery tour will be approximately 10 hours.

Guidelines:

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the wine-tasting component of this experience.

Dress Code:

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. You might want to bring a bottle of water.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a maximum of 14 guests in the group.

Product Description

Your day begins with a complimentary pick-up from your accommodation in the Sydney CBD. We will travel to the Hunter Valley in the luxury of a Mercedes Tourer. The tourer seats 14 passengers and features reclining seats, armrests, TV/DVD/MP3 and a fridge.

During your journey your guides will provide commentary on the beautiful areas that we pass through. You will also enjoy a video presentation on the Hunter Valley and on wine-tasting in general.

Of the 5 ? 7 wineries available to us on the day we do formal tastings at 3 ? 4, where we are taken through the wine list together as a group.

We concentrate the tour on the boutique wineries in the Hunter Valley. We only pre-book one winery for the day ? Iron Gate Estate ? where they give us a behind-the-scenes tour. The rest of the day is customised by our highly-experienced guides. They will talk to your group and ask you if you have a winery in mind that you would like to visit or if there is a certain wine that you would like to know more about. We certainly know how to pick the best from the bunch as we have visited over 80 wineries in the Hunter Valley.

For lunch we will stop at an award-winning Hunter Valley restaurant. You can choose two courses from a three-course menu. Included is a complimentary glass of fine wine.

After lunch you will have some free time to explore the Pokolbin Village area where you can visit more wineries or do some cheese tasting, visit the chocolate shop or galleries or just laze under a shady gum tree.

We return to Sydney between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. You?ll be pleasantly satisfied after your gourmet day out!
