Session Length:

This experience runs apprioximately once a month, subject to minimum numbers and usually on a Wednesday. We recommend that you book 1-2 months in advance. Please arrive at our office at 8.30am. We leave Sydney after the briefing at 9am and we return to Sydney at approximately 5pm.

Guidelines:

Drivers must be over 25 years of age and hold a current full drivers license. A security Bond of $3,000 applies - Credit Cards ONLY. This will be refunded upon return of the vehicle. Insurance is included - there is an excess of $5,000 in the event of an accident.

Dress Code:

Casual and comfortable.

Other Info:

Lunch is included on the day. The drive is approx 420 kms, this is shared between yourself and your passenger. You will drive approx 210 kms on the day.

Numbers:

This experience is for one person. We operate the sportscar sampler day with a minimum group size of 10 and a maximum of 20 people. Should minimum numbers not be met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience. If you wish to bring a non-driving passenger, please see product code SWR671.

Product Description

Your sports car drive day starts as you arrive at our Sydney CBD office for 8.30am. We start with a briefing and orientation session during which drivers and navigators are issued with maps, driver / vehicle change schedules and allocated starting vehicles. We allocate two people per car.

Leaving Sydney at 9am we will arrive for lunch at approximately 1pm. We head north through the picturesque Hunter Valley to The Cellar's Restaurant at Pokolbin. Here, you will have a chance to relax and enjoy a scrumptious 2 course lunch.

We then return to Sydney via the F3 Freeway. Along the way, we change vehicles to enable you to get behind the wheel of your dream cars. Sports cars include the Porsche 996/911, Mercedes SL500, Porsche Boxter 987, Mercedes SLK, Mercedes CLK, BMW Z4, Lotus Elise, BMW 330ci, Mini Cooper S Convertible, Mazda MX5, and Audi TT (the cars - make/model/year - to be used on the day is subject to their availability).

Refreshments and snacks will be provided throughout the day for your enjoyment. At the end of the day we will move to the Strand Hotel, where stories from the day can be swapped over a cold beer or glass of wine. We return back to Sydney at approximately 5pm.
