The Sun Jar really is a charming idea - kind of like catching fireflys – only during the day. You simply place the Sun Jar on a window sill or ledge during the day, to soak up and store the sunlight. Then the warm orange glow of the sun will continue to shine through the night. Not quite enough to help work on your tan, but enough to lighten your mood!
OK, in less romantic terms, it has warm coloured LED lights with a solar charging panel and solar cell battery (included) in a frosted jar. It also features a light sensor to automatically activate the sunshine when it gets dark – as well as an override switch to conserve power. Happy, grinches?

Specifications:
The Sun Jar is approximately 10(l) x 10(w) x 16(h) cm in size.
Inside the jar is a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.
Please note: The Sun Jar needs DIRECT sunshine to work - electric indoor light is not bright enough!
Leave the Sun Jar outside or near a sunny window in DIRECT sunlight for several hours to charge.
