Fantastic Fun
All of my kids have each had a Megasketcher since they were around 2.5 years old and they have been used practically every day since. My eldest is 9 now and she still sits for ages drawing and writing on it, as do her siblings.
I just purchased another one for my nephew's recent birthday and by all accounts he is having just as much fun with it and without even realising it is learning important skills along the way.
My favourite thing about it is that it doesn't require batteries, it's robust so it doesn't matter if they get dropped from time to time and it's easily taken anywhere.

Noisy but nice
This toy has been a life saver on long car journeys. My son loves it, but the sound of the picture getting wiped away by the button/lever thingy at the side can get a bit annoying for parents.
